Slugged a few deep fly balls from the right-handed batter’s box over the weekend, showing that he has some of the top pop potential among the 2021s in attendance at Badger State. He’s among many Verona prospects who showed well over the weekend, so keep an additional eye out for the high school program next spring.

The Thundercat backstop showed good quiet body control during his game vs ISA Black. The Verona Area product used his quiet body and good form to keep his blocks close to the plate, and recovered well. He also recorded one of the two hits in the game barreling up a line drive over the shortstops head. He was the only player to reach base twice in the game, recording a walk in his final at bat.

Behind the plate, throws from high ¾ slot with accuracy despite work-in-progress arm action. Clean exchanges helped produce 2.26-2.30 pops. 72 mph out of the crouch. 8.02 runner in the 60.
