Foster has a knack for the barrel, and he possesses an aggressive, fast right-handed swing that unleashes hard line-drive contact into both gaps effectively. We saw more of the same this past weekend at our PBR at The Rock Fall Championships, as he drove loud contact all over the diamond, substantiating his reputation as one of the class’ top offensive uncommitted players.

6-foot, 185 pounds; thick/strong athlete. Right-handed hitter who fits the mold of an impact, middle-of-the-order run-producer. Pull-side approach, physicality and aggressiveness in swing; makes for some loud contact when he gets into one. Sneaky athlete with foot speed who can play multiple positions, though slots in best at a corner outfield spot. Among the top righty power bats in the class.

Body: 6-0, 185-pounds. Looking leaner, with strength intact since we last saw him.
Hit: RH. Tall setup, front foot open, hands set high, horizontal bat. Smooth load back, leg kick stride out to even. Short path to the zone, fast bat speed off an inclined plane with barrel feel. Blast Motion indicates he rotates well with a quick bat that projects for power.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. Power potential to pull-side; hit one baseball 348 feet and another 360 feet. Topped 95.5 mph in live BP, per TrackMan.
Arm: RH. OF - 83 mph. Long, loose throws from a high 3/4 slot with accuracy to home.
Defense: Sneaky athleticism; direct approach to ball with fluid footwork. Clean, efficient funnels through exchange. Projects best in a corner spot.
Run: 7.29 runner in the 60. Athletic gait, long strides.

Positional Profile: OF/3B
Body: 5-foot-10, 175-pounds. Durable build with strength, strong lower half.
Hit: RHH. Tall setup, narrow with big leg kick trigger. Strong hands, creates well above average bat speed, loose swing.
Power: 92 mph exit velocity from the tee. Hard contact, pull side power potential, ball will jump off the bat. Showed hard contact in game.
Arm: RH. INF - 79 mph. OF - 80 mph. Firm arm action, high 3/4 slot, played best from the outfield.
Defense: Corner defender, hands work, outfield actions play through and shuffle through exchange. Infield actions profile at third base, hands work out front, showed body control.
Run: 4.79 runner down the line. 

Batting in the two-hole hit a booming home run to left field as well as lining out to short and contributing a hard-hit single. Foster presents a strong athletic build with present strength, pull-side power potential in the near future. This is the second homer we’ve seen of his already this summer, the last one coming a few weeks back at The Rock in Franklin, Wis. Foster’s swing can get a little long, but his fast and strong hands allow for him to barrel baseballs with authority on the regular, into each gap. He’s also a savvy baserunner who’s constantly picking his spots to snag an extra base. His on-field IQ in combination with his powerful bat make him a high-follow prospect in the state’s 2022 class.

5-foot-10, 165-pound right/right middle infielder with athletic build, thick/durable lower half. Hit in the middle of the order for Stars Royal all tournament. An aggressive right-handed hitter with above-average pop. Sets up in athletic stance, balanced/open, hands set high, quick load back with slight arm bar, short stride lands toe open. Quick, short, and level bat path geared for line drives. Projects for a spot on the left side of the infield, hands work, feet can be a little heavy, but defends with above-average actions all around.

5-foot-10, 165-pound infielder, solid athletic build. Projects well with the bat, tall narrow setup, long stride, average balance. Aggressive swing, loose hands, hits with intent, line drive contact, hits in rhythm. Defensively plays with mechanical actions, hands plays, feet get static at times, flashed body control, profiles at third base. Arm action is long, high ¾ slot, 72 mph across the diamond. 7.68 runner in the 60.
