He got the nod for ISA Stars Royal 15U on Friday afternoon and strung together a rather impressive outing. Long arm action, high ¾ slot. Simple tall/fall type delivery, strong front side, stays in line with target, upright finish. Throws with some effort. Fastball sag 80-83 mph, touched 85, while consistently working around the zone, flashing arm-side action at times. Showed feel for both of his offspeed pitches. Changeup was the better of the two today, sitting 73-75 mph, essentially a mirror image of fastball. especially his changeup. Curveball sat 68-71 mph, 11/5 shake, flashed sharp actions, thrown with intent. Tossed 5.2 innings of two-run ball, striking out eight and allowing five hits. Zollar continues to establish himself as a high level prospect in his respective class.

In his Saturday night start against Windy City, Zollar sat 80-83 mph for most of the outing with heavy running fastballs, and dodged barrels all game by mixing in a slurve-y breaking ball with sharp/late action. Zollar also flashed a third pitch, a changeup, thrown at arm speed with some fade, offering an advanced three-pitch arsenal for his age.
