Uncommitted southpaw that will climb in the state’s updated 2021 rankings. Lean, broad-shouldered 6-foot-2, 175-pound frame that projects. Started on the mound for Brew State Baseball Academy against ISA Stars Royal on Saturday afternoon. Short and loose arm action, high ¾ slot; above-average arm speed. Athletic drop/drive type delivery, works direct to target, recoil finish. Still learning to sync up his upper and lower half mechanics. Fastball sat 83-85 mph, touching 86 mph early in the game with natural arm-side action. Ticked down into the 80-83 mph range as the game went on. Mixed in a 1/7 curveball at 70-72 mph, gradual action, some feel at times.
Positional Profile: LHP; an upside arm to know in Wisconsin’s 2021 class, still uncommitted.
Body: 6-2, 175-pounds. Slender frame with wiry strength, projects. Broad, square shoulders.
Delivery: Simple, low-effort tall/fall type delivery, high balance point, closed shoulders, works in line with target. Controlled rhythm throughout, repeats.
Arm Action: Long and loose arm action, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T86, 83-86 mph. Comes out clean and easy, four-seam type that flashed occasional arm-side action. Effective swing-and-miss pitch up in the zone. More velocity left in the tank.
CB: 70-71 mph. Tight 2/8 shape, some sweep to it at times.
CH: 69-70 mph. Some arm-side action, fade. Somewhat maintains typical arm speed.
Positional Profile: LHP
Body: 6-foot-2, 175-pounds. Long levers, lanky frame, with square/broad shoulders.
Delivery: Square straddle on the rubber; side rock to even balance point and slight hip turn. Works on even, direct path to home, lands square.
Arm Action: LH. Short draw and compact arm circle to high 3/4 release; smooth rhythm with regular effort.
FB: T83, 81-82 mph. Consistent run/sink with advanced action.
CB: 69-74 mph. 1/7 shape with feel to drop beneath zone; average action.
CH: 70-73 mph. Somewhat maintains arm speed; flashed fading action.
6-foot-2, 165-pound left-handed pitcher. Stretch-only delivery, long loose arm action. Fastball sat 77-79 mph, got swing and miss up in the zone. Curveball played at 70 mph, occasional depth.
