Is a steady defender on the infield, likely profiling as a 2B/3B, he showed the ability to athletically turn the double play, soft, reliant hands, and a carryable arm at times. Offensively, Davidson showed the same repeatable left-handed stroke we’ve seen from him in the past - one that’s consistently hit in-game and helped lead St. Joseph to the D3 state championship last summer. He worked line drives off the barrel throughout BP and efficiently stayed on-plane throughout. Davidson appears to have improved his athleticism throughout the off-season as well, dropping his 60-yard dash time nearly a full half-second since we saw him in the summer, running a 6.96 this past weekend.
3/17/21
Davidson is a compact athlete in a sturdy 5-foot-9, 175-pound build. His left-handed bat is loose with a feel to use the whole field, and he reached a 90.2 mph high off the bat in BP. He looked smoother on defense, too, and added some arm strength over the offseason.

He was one of the most productive bats at our 15U at The Rock tournament a few weeks ago, and he’s here in Mauston to keep that title. He tallied two more knocks and was constantly on the barrel. Hit the ball hard all weekend. At shortstop, Davidson had multiple assists and also showcased his ability to work the back hand. Has a slightly open stance, can consistently load on time and has little difficulty adjusting speeds. Makes hard contact every time with a natural feel for the barrel.
