He has a compact and repeatable delivery, working with some pace throughout his operation. Long arm action out of the glove, works into a high ¾ slot. He filled up the zone with his fastball, sitting 79-80 mph and topping out at 81 mph with straight four-seam action. He showed a knack to spin the breaking ball, averaging over 2,400 rpm with sharp 11/5 break, 71-72 mph. His final offering was a changeup at 75-76 mph, playing with similar action to the fastball. The freshman also showcased what he can do as a two-way talent. He hits with a balanced and consistent swing, hitting line drives to all fields. His quality actions play in the infield with soft hands and an accurate arm.
Went 4-for-5 in the semi-final game and battled very well with two-strikes all throughout the weekend. Brandner did not make things easy on pitching in this game, consistently being able to poke the ball through any gap, sending the ball to both sides of the field. Also showed solid potential on the mound in this game as well tossing 2.0 innings to get the victory where he displayed a very clean delivery and had a fastball that sat 77-79 mph with a breaking ball that was 65-66 mph.

Brander stands at 5-foot-8, 145-pounds with sloped shoulders and good proportions. On the mound, Brander's athleticism was on display as his quick arm produced fastballs in the 73-76 mph range, with finish at the plate. He spun a 10/4 shape breaking ball CB that was all around the zone. Offensively, he showed the ability to barrel baseballs with consistency. Overall, he displays skill and ability all over the field on defense with actions that will lead to a middle of diamond home.
