Built like an NFL safety at 6-foot-3, 215 lbs. Harding has a strong, filled out frame to work with. Powerful runner who clocked a 6.95 in the 60. Offensively, starts with a narrow, upright stance & has front side just narrowly open. Shows some bat wiggle to create rhythm before getting into controlled leg lift. Gathers on backside then takes a short forward stride into landing. Quick, subtle stretch with hands to create separation. Creates easy bat speed with a compact swing. Hands stay tight and work inside of the baseball. Strong at the point of contact. Hits against a firm front side. Averaged 90.45 with his EV in 2 rounds of BP and topped at 99.94. Mostly line-drive contact with a more level finish but the power potential is there. Defensively he profiles well to OF with his size, speed and strength. Moves easily in the OF with sound footwork and consistent actions with his exchange into throwing motion. The arm slot works from a high ¾ slot and he has a full, clean arm circle getting out to release. Throws with intent and backside comes thru after release.
