Jackson has always sported a lean, compact frame with proportional size in his upper & lower half. There’s noticeably more mass and strength there now as he stands 5-foot-11, 180 pounds. Showed off the best speed we’ve seen from him with a 6.88 in the 60. Offensively, starts with lower half slightly open and subtle bend in his lower half. Moves weight onto backside with a slow, steady shift then takes a short forward stride into landing. Hands stay loose and relaxed as front foot gets down. Staying tall while he initiates swing. Continues to keep barrel inside of the ball and looks to drive everything up the middle & to the big parts of the field. Stays tall with a consistent 2-handed finish and keeps head down thru contact. Defensively, handles the INF with sound footwork and repeatable actions. Starts slightly narrow in his pre-pitch approach and then lands in a wider, more athletic base at contact. Stays low and lets ball travel into his stance. Funnels in quickly to chest and keeps ball high & tight while readjusting feet towards target. Tight, compact arm action from ¾ slot but also showed ability to lower his release when ranging up the middle. Steady, confident defender who avoids rushing or trying to do too much.

5-foot-10, 175-pound sturdy frame. Jackson continues to show development in all areas of his game across the looks we've had. During BP recorded an improved exit velocity of 88 mph. Hits from a balanced stance with a smooth, controlled load. Takes a short stride into landing. Barrel stays inside of the ball with a simple, level swing plane and a flat, line drive type finish. Lets the ball travel and keeps an 'up the middle' type of approach. Defensively, showed consistent feet and a clean exchange in the INF. Reliable hands when funneling ball in with a repeatable exchange. Used a ¾ slot and a short arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Set a new high with 80 mph arm strength across the diamond. Also ran a 7.05 in the 60 to show that the added strength isn't limiting his overall athleticism.
