Long lanky projectable frame. Has a more deliberate build up style delivery, working down to out. Has a longer arm action with average arm speed throwing from a high 3/4 slot. Fastball showed later life on the pitch, ranging from 77 to 79 miles an hour. Topped out at 80. Breaking ball head gradual break with 1-to-7 shape at 70-72 miles an hour. Showed excellent control of the pitch, ability to work the strike zone. Should be more in the tank especially when he adds strength and wait, as well as creates some intent in his delivery.

Honaker is 6-1 with a lanky frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a short loose arm action that is quick, generates velocity with normal to some effort. Shoulders and hips are closed off as he strides out, crossfire look, lands closed with athletic finish. Fastball was 77-79, touching 81, with some downward plane and a bit of late run. Change-up was 72-73 with good armspeed and some sink. Curveball had some armspeed and sharp 1/7 break, running 65-66. Slider was 71-72 with late 10/4 cut to it. Showed feel for all of his pitches, a lot of upside left to Honaker.
