Mitchell has a lanky athletic frame with a lot of projection left to it. He had a strong showing at the plate, singling to right in his first at-bat and working a walk in his second at-bat. Very quickly stole second base both times as well with good jumps that negated the need for a throw. Pitched at the end of the game, throwing from a three-quarters arm slot, quick arm with a loose short arm action. Fastball was 82-84 with some downward angle and some late boring action to armside. Curveball was 69-74 with sharp break that played up at the higher end of the velocity range. Got a handful of fastball swing and misses up in the zone. Struggled with an inconsistent strike zone.

Mitchell is 6-1 with a lankier athletic frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, leg kick stride on line, short load back. Hips rotate with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, slightly uphill swing path, strong at contact point with good extension through the ball, some whip in his bat, showed a good approach using the whole field, has some natural loft in his swing and power to all fields, exit velocity was 95. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with above average hands, quick clean exchange, throws from an three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 83. Ran a 7.01 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a three-quarters arm slot, longer free quick arm action and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands open with a fall off finish and recoil. Fastball was 84-86, with some riding action with a touch of armside run, very high spin, max over 2600 RPM. Curveball had good armspeed and was 69-71 with hard sharp 11/5 break to it, has high spin as well and flashed swing and miss.

Mitchell is 6-1 with a lankier athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a taller balanced athletic stance, short leg kick stride on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, level line drive swing path, worked gap to gap, exit velocity was 83. In the outfield, gets behind the ball and fields with average hands, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 84. Ran a 7.09 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands open with an athletic finish. Fastball was 79-81, with bore to armside. Curveball had some armspeed and was 66-68 with sharp 11/5 break. Change-up had some armspeed and was 72-74 with fade to it.
