Shah has an athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot with a short free arm action and some effort. Shoulders are slightly uphill and closed, lands square with a fall off finish, has some head whack. Minimal stride down the mound, almost steps and throws, plenty of opportunity to add more lower half to delivery and create a velocity jump. Fastball was 81-83, touching 84 once, pitch had some downward plane and some late hard run to it. Showed a change-up that was 65-67 with some sink and a curveball that was 62-64 with 11/5 break. Needs to improve armspeed on both pitches, but they have the makings good offerings. Raw pitcher with a lot of upside and some good blocks to build on.
