Selph is 5-10 with an athletic frame that has some strength in the lower half and plenty of projection left to it. Hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, short load back to a slight wrap. Hips rotate completely and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path, strength at contact point with extension through the ball, showed a good approach working primarily gap to gap, extra base power in the middle of the field with more to come, exit velocity was 90. Behind the plate, quick clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 72 and pop times 2.03-2.14. Showed accuracy on his throws. Receiving, works with knee down or in a squat, shows sway. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, breaks long before shortening up, short free arm action and some effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are uphill and on line, lands open with an athletic finish. Fastball was 76-79, with downward plane and some late cut to it. Curveball was 63-66 with some armspeed and big gradual 11/5 break to it. Change-up was 68-72 good armspeed and heavy fade to it. Knuckleball was 73-74 good armspeed and a lot of late life.

Selph is 5-10 with a lankier athletic frame that has some plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open athletic stance, short stride on line, short load back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path, showed a good approach working primarily gap to gap, exit velocity was 79. Behind the plate, very quick clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 71 and pop times 1.93-2.07. Some accuracy on his throws. Showed versatility taking balls in the infield where his velocity was 74.

Athletic frame at 5-foot-9, 140-pounds. Athletic balanced setup at the plate. Simple stride forward, lands square, and has some feel for timing of foot strike. Hands had some quickness through the zone, level path, and used the middle of the field really well. Was very impressed with the approach in the rounds he took. Stayed within and worked gap to gap with a line drive approach. Exit velocity was 75 mph. Behind the plate Selph worked high in his setup, clean exchange on pops, and a short arm arm action from a three-quarter arm slot. Receiving was solid, as appeared to bring some low pitches back into the zone and had nice glove presentation. Pop times ranged from 2.18-2.25 and should improve with added arm strength, positional velocity of 67 mph. Infield velocity was 64 mph. Home-1st time was 4.57.
