Steward is big strong body hitting from the left side. Had some nice at bats on the day versus Godwin and LCA. Showed well in the first game versus Godwin hitting a two strike double to the bottom of the fence in left center and later on hitting a no doubt homerun out of right center field. Had some uphill tilt to his swing, but showed the ability to adjust when deep in counts and battle some at bats which is rare for a guy who is going to be asked to hit for power and drive runners in. Was interested to see how Steward fared versus some higher velo, which he saw in the second game versus Emmanuel Johnson of LCA. Steward battled the at bat and ended up working it deep in the count and producing a walk out of it.
