Johnson is a shorter athletic infielder who looks real good at second. Very soft quick hands, fields with good feet and has a lot of lateral range. Arm action is short and arm needs to get stronger to play the left side, which he has plenty of time to do. He has a quick exchange and release and it works well at second. Didn't get a chance to do much at the plate, but did draw a walk and almost immediately stole a base with a good break. Speed has the chance to impact games. Potential top of the lineup middle infielder.
