Collins has a strong athletic frame with some projection left to it. Throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, shorter loose arm action, normal effort to his drop and drive delivery, shoulders uphill and closed, lands open with a hard fall off finish. Fastball was 87-88 with heavy sink to it and a bit of armside run. Showed a curveball with some armspeed and 11/5 break, has some shape to it and a chance to tighten up a bit more. Pounds the bottom of the zone with that heavy sinking fastball, groundball pitcher will be tough for hitters to elevate his deliveries.
