VA/DC PreSeason All-State Central
Bell is 6-0 with a 170 pound athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, very short free quick arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are slightly uphill and closed, lands open with an athletic finish. Fastball was 80-82, with downward angle and some late armside run to it. Curveball was 67-69 with good armspeed and sharp 11/5 break to it. Showed a slider in the same velocity range with some armspeed and gradual 10/4 break to it, has some shape. Change-up was 74-75 with good armspeed and some late armside run.
