Zampiello has an athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a closed off crossfire delivery. Hides the ball well and arm is free with some quickness. Throws a very heavy ball, gets on hitters quick because of his deception. Fastball was 81-83, touching 84 with late sink to it and a harder angle for righthanded hitters. Threw one curveball that was 63 with 12/6 action. Threw primarily fastball, his deception was tough on the hitters, struck out 7 in 3.1 innings without needing to use his breaking ball.
