Power / Speed Score

Athletic frame with projection left. Strength through the shoulders and back. Long loose arm action and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot. Kuhle has a pretty low effort delivery and the fastball came out pretty easy. The fastball sat 82-85 and touched 86 in the first. Later on into the outing he was more 80-83 mph with the fastball and leaned on the secondary the deeper he got into the start. Showed a curveball and a slider, the slider having the most promise of the two. When he got the slider out front it played well off of the fastball at 74-76 mph with late depth. Showed some poise battling through some tough spots with runners on and versus a strong lineup. Interesting arm to follow this spring.

Kuhle has a lanky frame that still has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the left side from a crouched slightly open athletic stance, strides on line, smooth load back, good rhythm to set up. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some balance during swing. Short to ball, quick bat, slightly uphill swing with extension through the ball, strong at contact point. Line drive swing with carry in the gaps, showed good approach working middle of the field, exit velocity was 86. In the outfield, rounds ball and fields towards his target. Clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a short arm action, outfield velocity was 79. Ran a 6.97 60 yard dash.
