Athletic compact frame with strength. Versatile athletic infielder that has the ability and skill set to stay in the middle. Feet are active and moves well around the infield. Arm strength is a plus and shows the ability to throw from multiple angles easily. Hits from an athletic set up at the plate, Simple load with light leg kick to hitting position. Short stroke at the plate, hands are direct, shows bat speed throughout and some extension through contact. Whips barrel through and shows some power potential as well. Athletic and versatile, don't think would have much of a problem staying on left side of infield or even playing outfield as well.

Dunaway has a smaller compact frame with quick-twitch all over the place. Defensively he has sound actions with clean hands and quick exchange with a short arm action and arm strength across the diamond. At the plate he hits from an athletic set up slightly stacked. He has a short swing path with free hands at the plate and a barrel that stayed in the zone very well. He does show extension through contact, more of a spray type hitter with gap-to-gap ability. It's quick out of the box and shows a quick and confident first step.

Dunaway was a high-energy player all weekend, and was all over the field from his shortstop position while showing off a quick, strong arm. At the plate, he features a short stroke with some punch, and has advanced baseball instincts. Dunaway also hopped on the mound, and showed off a quick arm and crisp, compact delivery.
