Bonneville is 6-0 with a strong athletic frame. He hits from the right side from an open balanced athletic stance, low leg kick stride on line, smooth load back to a wrap. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing, strong at contact with extension through the ball, showed a good approach working gap to gap, power present in the gaps, exit velocity was 92. Behind the plate, quick clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short loose arm action, position velocity was 75 and pop times 1.98-2.08. Showed some accuracy on his throws. Receiving, works with a knee down, keeps body low, shows sway while receiving. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, very short loose quick arm action and some effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with a slight fall off finish and recoil. Fastball was 78-81, with hard late armside run that gets some depth as well. Curveball was 66-71 with good armspeed and sharp 11/5 break to it. Change-up was 73-74 with good armspeed and some late fade to it.

He hits from the right side from an open balanced relaxed stance, low leg kick stride on line, smooth load back to a slight wrap. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, goes straight to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing with strength at contact and some extension through the ball, showed a pull approach, some power present that way with some natural loft in his swing, exit velocity was 86. Behind the plate, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 66 and pop times 2.12-2.28.

Bonneville is 6-0 with a strong frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced stance, low leg kick stride on line, smooth load down. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, uphill swing with strength at contact and extension through the ball, shows some present power and had a pull preference with some natural loft in his swing, exit velocity was 87. Behind the plate, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 71 and pop times 2.01-2.14, showed some accuracy on his throws. On the mound, he throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short loose arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands square with an athletic finish and some recoil. Fastball was 77-79, touching 80, some run to armside and late sink, run played up when he threw to armside. Curveball had some armspeed and was 65-68 with sharp 11/5 break.

Bonneville is 6-0 with a strong frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a taller slightly open balanced stance, low leg kick stride on line, loads down and back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing with extension through the ball, exit velocity was 86. Behind the plate, firm receiver, works up to the ball with some sway, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 73 and pop times 2.02-2.05, showed some accuracy on his throws. On the mound, he throws from a higher three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with an athletic finish. Fastball was 77-79, touching 80, with some late hard run. Curveball had some armspeed and was 68-70 with sharp 10/4 break. Change-up had good armspeed and was 71-73 with fade.

Positional Profile: C
Body: 6-foot, 170-pounds. Athletic, Projectable frame with strength and room to add more. Interesting prospect in the 2022 class.
Hit: RHH.  Tall, slightly open set up with high hands. Simple leg lift with slgiht rock back load. Hands are short and direct to the ball. Uphill finish looking to lift the ball and drive. Nice rhythm at plate. Hands are free with some bat speed and shows ability to spray around the field. Gets some extension through contact.
Power: 80 mph exit velocity from the tee. More there that should develop with time.
Arm: RH. C - 74 mph. Short arm action that gets rid of ball quickly.
Defense: 2.00-2.02 pop times. Quick feet and exchange with smooth transfer. Sticks well and pretty quiet body.
Run: 4.75 timed home-to-first.

WINTER UPDATE SESSION I

Strong physical frame at 6-foot, 170-pounds. Hits from a slightly open stance, small leg lift to stride, and lands on line. Hands load back to an arm bar, definite hand speed and strength getting through the zone, and swing path was level. Loud contact that produced consistent line drives from gap to gap. Exit velocity was 84 mph. Bonneville displayed a no doubt ability to hit for power and is an intriguing bat to keep an eye on going forward.
