Holroyd is 6-1 with an athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He throws from a low three-quarters arm slot and drops down to submarine sometimes, shorter free arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are level and closed, lands slightly closed with an athletic finish. Fastball was 76-78, with some armside run to it from up top and heavy sink when he drops down. Curveball had some armspeed and was 67-68 with sharp 11/5 break to it from up top and sweeping slider action from down low. Change-up was 73-74 with good armspeed and late fade to it.
