Cape Cod: Looking to bring the production he’s shown at UNC-Greensboro—.361/.433/.593 with 30 doubles and 25 home runs over two seasons—to the SEC at South Carolina. He has a strong frame at 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds and has the raw power to match, but he batted just .198 in 98 at-bats this summer and oftentimes struggled to hit spin. That will have to improve for him to get to his power against SEC pitching.

Mid-Atlantic Challenge 11/4/18
A physical presence at 6-foot-1, 220-pounds. Jones hits from a balanced, square set up at the plate. Has a simple short lod with no wasted movements and stays in a strong hitting position. Hands are free at the plate and direct, showing quick twitch and extension through contact. Showed mature ability to drive the baseball for a young age. Has the makings of a middle of the order type threat. Shows sound defensive skill, with a short arm action and working through the ball sound. still has room to make himself into a better defensive player, but that should happen to fit into a nice corner outfield slot down the road. Exciting prospect to follow.
