Lucas is 6-2 with an athletic frame that has some strength and plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, minimal in place, no load. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Keeps hands inside, short and quick to ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with a strong contact point, exit velocity was 90. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a wider base and above average hands. Clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, velocity was 81. Ran a 4.00 home to first. On the mound, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action that is quick, some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with a slight fall off finish. Fastball was 77-79, with some run to armside. Curveball had some armspeed and gradual 10/4 break at 65-67. Change-up was 70-71 with some armspeed and run to it.
