Hardy is 6-3 with a mature athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open athletic stance, short leg kick stride on line, smooth load back, hips rotate completely, has some balance during his swing. Quick to ball, keeps hands inside, strong at contact point with extension through the ball, slightly uphill path, line drive swing has loft built in, showed good approach working gap to gap, exit velocity was 86. In the infield, rounds ball and fields with a wider base and average hands. Plays through ball to a clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, free arm action, position velocity was 82. On the mound, he throws from a three-quarters arm slot with longer arm loose action that is quick and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are on line and uphill, lands square with an athletic finish. Fastball was 80-83 with some downward plane and late sink and run to it, two-plane life at the end. Curveball was 70-73 with late sharp 11/5 break and good armspeed. Change-up was 73-76 with good armspeed and sharp heavy fade to it. Mix works well together and he showed ability to throw all three for strikes.
