Lanky Projectable frame. Controlled delivery, somewhat build up style. Average leg kick with some back side involvement. Short, compact arm action throwing from a high three quarter slot. Creates quick arm speed while pitching with regular effort. Hides ball and is tough coming out on hitters. Whippy arm. Fastball shows later life on the pitch up to 85 mph on the day. Breaking ball has chance to be a plus pitch. Bit inconsistent right now, but threw some very good ones on the day. Tight spin, 11/5 shape, later action. Pitched ranged up to 75 mph.

We saw Bell earlier in the year, he came in for a limited relief appearance in this game. Fastball was 82-83, touching 84 and had late run when he got it down in the zone. Change-up was outstanding with good armspeed and heavy fade, running 76. Threw one slider which had good armspeed and had sharp hard 10/4 break at 72. Commanded all three pitches well to both side of the plate.

Bell has a tall strong frame that is athletic. He has a drop and drive delivery and throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a shorter, loose arm action that is quick and normal effort. Shoulders are uphill and on line, lands slightly closed with an open toe and hip, fall off finish. Fastball was 81-83 early, touching 84. Settled into 79-82 later in the outing. Held his velocity in his slide step. Pitch had late run but not much downward plane. Change-up was 74-76 with sink and he slowed his arm a bit on the pitch. Slider was 68-69 with gradual 11/5 break. Showed ability to attack in and out with his fastball, strike thrower with all three pitches.
