VA/DC PreSeason All-State Central
Bowers is 5-9 with a thin lanky 123 pound athletic frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are uphill and closed, lands on line with an athletic finish and some recoil. Fastball was 62-65, touching 66, with some downward angle and armside run to it that has depth as well. Curveball was 55-57 with some armspeed and big gradual 11/5 break to it. Change-up was 62-64 with good armspeed and some late fade to it.
