Cousins is 5-10 with an athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open leaned back athletic stance, two tap stride on line, short load back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, level line drive swing path, showed a good approach working gap to gap, feel for the barrel, exit velocity was 80. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with above average hands, works through ball to a quick clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 78. Ran a 7.31 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short quick arm action that is loose and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are slightly uphill and closed, lands closed with a slight fall off finish and recoil. Fastball was 76-79, with armside run to it. Slider had some armspeed and was 66-71 with late hard 10/4 break to it. Change-up had good armspeed was 69-70 with hard late fade.
