Turner is 5-7 with a lankier athletic frame that still has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open athletic stance, strides on line, smooth load back to a wrap. Hips rotate and he maintains some lower half balance. Keeps hands inside, short to the ball, level line drive swing path, exit velocity was 75. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a wider base and average hands. Clean exchange, works through the ball, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, velocity was 65. Ran a 4.52 home to first.
Fall Invite
Simple, yet effective, pick up and put down to stride. Swing appears to be hands dominant and needs to finish the swing through the zone a little longer. Lower half finishes and has great body control and balance throughout. In the outfield he has good footwork on approach and breaks down well. Displays a shorter arm action that needs to get stronger to produce some carry out of the hand. In the infield he gains ground on the ball that will assist with the arm strength. Presents glove early upon approach of the baseball.
