Daulton is 5-10 with an athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, strides on line, loads back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Kept hands inside, short to the ball with some extension through it. Uphill swing path, line drive swing, showed a primarily pull approach, exit velocity was 78. In the infield, rounds ball and plays through it, fielding with above average hands. Clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a free arm action, infield velocity was 82. Ran a 7.45 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a long arm action that is free, normal effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are slightly uphill and closed, lands closed with an athletic finish. Fastball 78-80, touching 81, with some downward plane and late run to armside. Curveball was 67-68 with good armspeed and sharp 11/5 break.

Daulton has a thin athletic frame. Windup starts with a side step and a tall balance point gathered over the rubber. Down and out delivery down the mound with level shoulders. Arm action is longer and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot. Fastball sits between 77-79 mph and flashes some arm side run at times. Curveball had 12/6 shape and showed solid depth at 66-68 mph. Went to the breaking ball often and the fastball seemed to play a little better than the actual velo, especially on the inner half.
