Satterfield is 6-1 with an athletic 185 pound frame that has some strength present and projection left to it. He hits from the left side from a taller balanced relaxed athletic stance, two tap stride on line, smooth load down and back to a slight bar. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill swing path, some strength at contact with extension through the ball, showed a good approach primarily working gap to gap, easy power present in the gaps with a chance to add more to pull side, exit velocity was 92. Behind the plate, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 74 and pop times 2.07-2.15. Showed some accuracy on his throws.

Listed at 6-foot-1, 185-pounds and looks every bit of it. Strong athletic frame with projection left. Left handed hitting catcher that starts in a narrow stance, toe tap to stride, and hands make minimal load before a short path to contact. It is an easy level path swing with average hand and bat speed through contact. Stayed inside of a fastball in his first at bat and hit a line drive single to left center field to make it 2-0. Made a hard turn around first base reading the throw and made a nice instinctive play advancing to second on a throw that went to third base. Behind that plate Satterfield works from a low narrower base, average receiver, and average arm strength with accuracy around the bag on throws. Intriguing left handed hitting catcher that has a physical makeup to the frame and room to add good strength.
