5-foot-11, 180-pound solid frame. Dahlman got the start for the Gators and showed some flashes of why he is quite possibly the best uncommitted 2022 arm in the state. The fastball velo was slightly down, 83-85 mph and touched 86 mph, from where we have previously seen him in the 85-88 range. Even though the velo was slightly down he did show the ability to "pitch". The secondary was very effective at times, especially the changeup. The curveball sat 71-73 mph with 11/5 shape and average feel. Showed a couple of short action sliders at 73-75 mph with late depth. His best offspeed offering was undoubtedly the changeup, which flashed plus potential. The changeup sat 70-72 mph and tunneled well off the fastball. It got to the plate and the string pulled with some late diving action and above average feel for the zone. It got a lot of swings and misses on the day and I thought it was easily his best pitch during this outing.
