PreSeason All-State East
Catron is 6-2 with a lankier athletic frame that has strength present in the lower half and plenty of projection left. He throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, longer loose quick arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are level and closed, lands closed with an athletic finish with some recoil. Fastball was 80-82, with some hard armside run that gets depth to it. Curveball was 62-67 with some armspeed and sharp 11/5 break to it, climbs slot up a bit to get on top of. Showed a slider in the same velocity range with good armspeed and sharp 10/4 break to it, arm slot matches his fastball. Change-up was 71-74 with good armspeed and heavy fade to it.
