After a strong summer and showing at the Top Prospect Games, where he touched 86 with the FB, the FB came out 78-81 at the All-State Games. The ability to repeat and throw K's was absent this look and was wild throughout and had a hard time getting the FB in the K zone. When in the zone, due to his late shoulder turn and severe old school over the top arm slot, he can be tough to hit, when he's on. I question how much he had been throwing before this event and what type of arm shape was he in. Perplexing as to the amount of velo loss over the course of 5 months. Has seen better days, and needs to come out in March with a renewed focus and dedication to get after it and throw K's.

A thick mature filled out build, who is originally from Chicago, was in the upper 70’s, touching 80 a year ago, but has seen a substantial increase, with the FB reaching 86 with an OH arching CB, from a high compact kick to delivery. Has peppered the K zone in the past and has moved his performances forward in recent weeks, with more K zone consistency. Missed bats throughout his one inn in the simulated game conditions. Will be interesting to see where he goes from here, as a physical LHP, reaching the mid 80’s as a sophomore.
