Crook is currently playing 1B for his HS and should be playing on the left side of the INF, from my perspective. Have seen him play this spring, in addition to the Preseason All-State event on March 6th. A tall lean, projectable streamlined build with broad shoulders and long arms/legs. 82 across the diamond from SS, and was accurate with his throws. Showed educated feet and worked from the ground up with soft hands and worked out front. The bat has some intrigue as he has long levers and shows a smooth, fluid stroke with some uphill. The ball jumped on a line, with a lot of fly balls. Would be interesting to see where he is this summer!
