The athleticism of Prater is the first thing that sticks out when watching him. The 6’3 Lefty looks natural in center field. He moves easily and covers ground from gap to gap. At the plate, there is plenty of bat speed. His first couple ab’s he was pull happy, hooking everything foul. Later in the game, he shortened up and smoked a ball to RC for a triple. Prater also has enormous upside on the mound, and hopefully we will get a look at him on the mound during the playoffs.
