The physical Jr. had a crisp outing on Friday. He was 82-84 with the fastball and commanded it to all quadrants of the strike zone. He threw a changeup that was 74-75 and threw his breaking ball at 72-73. He had a good presence on the mound and worked efficiently and quickly. He showed good strike throwing ability and did a good job of setting up hitters with pitch selection. The frame makes you think there will be a velo spike, and if that comes he will receive plenty of college attention.
