Starts from a slightly open stance, then triggers his hands as he lifts his front leg into a leg kick and strides forward, walking away from his hands and landing with separation. Flat path through the zone, short to the ball, and strong hands produced hard contact during batting practice. In the outfield, Handal plays through the ball with quick footwork and tempo as he exchanges the ball to throw from short, high-¾ slot with a top velocity of 81 mph.
