3/3/19: A redshirt senior who is physically maxed and turns 24 years old in June, Janczak was previously regarded as a potential Day Two draft talent. However, he has suffered a myriad of injuries over the past couple of seasons and age is not on his side. His primary weapon is a 76-78 mph Frisbee slider. On Sunday evening it broke early and the Rice batters were able to lay off of the pitch. He also worked in an occasional fastball in the 86-89 mph range. Overall, it was a tough night for Janczak, who was knocked out of the game after throwing just 35 pitches and allowing three runs in 1.2 innings pitched. (Seifert)
