When you watch certain players play, there is a buzz about him. Rosar is one of those players. He is a fierce competitor on the mound and comes right at you. His fastball topped out at 91 and he held in the upper 80’s for most of the night. He can command it to both sides of the plate and will elevate it as well. He mixes in a curveball and change up as well. He didn’t feature the Change much in this viewing, but it showed good potential. The curve ball was featured mostly for his secondary, and he showed the ability to drop it in for a strike or bury it in when he is ahead of the count. As that pitch continues to improve, his stock will continue to rise.

In the fall he was 1st team all district QB for the Eagles Football team, on Friday he hopped on the mound and opened some eyes. He was 86-88 T89 with a 71-74 mph breaking ball. He has an athletic delivery with good tempo and short arm action that makes the fastball play up. He had a presence and confidence about him on the mound that every coach looks for. While there is a stable of arms at Prosper HS, with Rosar’s stuff and his demeanor I would bet on him throwing some big innings for them this year.
