04.25.17 - 6-foot-2, 178-pound, lean, high-waisted frame. Squires is an intriguing, left-handed hitting prospect, with a projectable frame. Hitting in the six-hole as the designated hitter, Squires went 2-for-3 with two singles. His first hit was an RBI-single that started the scoring for Grapevine. Squires singled again in his second at-bat, this time squaring up a curveball to right field.
02.23.17 - 6-foot-2, 178-pound strong frame, with broad shoulders. The left-handed hitter was 1-for-2 with a base hit drag bunt, and ran a 3.94-second home-to-first time. Squires stands out because of his frame, position and the left-handed bat, we look forward to seeing more of him this spring.
