The Texas State commit got the start against Prosper on Tuesday and went 5 innings while punching out 7. The FB was mostly 86-87 with pretty good command. The difference maker was his Slider. He threw it with conviction at 79-81 and it came out of the same tunnel as his Fastball. It had some depth to it and a lot of horizontal break. He generated a lot of swing and miss with the pitch.
