This was my first time seeing Roddy and I will definitely be back. The sophomore came out of the bullpen and did his job. Had some tough plays that weren’t made behind him, but the stuff is there. He featured a mid to upper 80’s fastball that has touched 90 in other outings this spring. He had a Swing and Miss SL that he threw in the 74-76 range. He has a short arm stroke that he repeats well. There is some violence in the head movement that he will need to calm down, but there is a lot to like here.
