Elijah Cross (2025, Davidson Academy) The uncommitted junior has built up steam from PAS and on a chilly night, still was hot in the lead-off spot for the Bears. In two games against Goodpasture, Cross has accumulated 2 hits with 1 double and 1 BB. The centerfield prospect isn’t the tallest but comes comes in strong at 175 with a compact and defined frame in the legs and shoulders. The swing comes with very minimal moving parts and stays connected decently well throughout with a low center of gravity finish. He also will live the entire field, shooting line-drives to both right and center field. 6.8 runner and it showed stretching an easy single into a double that the majority of players would have been content sticking at 1st. Has some tools to work with and a follow this spring and summer.
