Bryson Mathis, CHRIST PRESBYTERIAN ACADEMY (TN), 2028 Positional Profile: OF/RHP Body: 5-10, 160-pounds. taller frame with proportional limbs and weight distribution that will hold strength and size very well. Hit: RHH. Feet begin slightly open with his hands held above rear shoulder. Slight rock onto his backside brings the front leg back to even. Hips and upper body leak at footplant as the swing launches through. Has a slightly upward pat through the zone that borders on flat at times. Worked towards the middle of the field with varied contact with some feel for catching it out front. Power: 79 max exit velocity, averaged 66.8 mph. 219' max distance. Arm: RH. Strong and accurate throws towards home, expect much more velocity out of the arm in the coming years. Defense: Is aggressive towards the ball, has smooth footwork and fields the ball off of his left foot with very good momentum towards home. ATH: 7.28 runner in the 60.
