The Lipscomb commit and former future gamer missed the 2021 high school season due to Tommy John surgery. The Mustangs fell one game short of making the final four in Murfreesboro last season, and the return of a upper 80s-90 arm is a big time addition. Dugan getting back to form to fill out the 1-2 punch with Mr. Baseball finalist Miller Green along with LA's deep roster of college commits, should be a formula for success in 2022.

6-foot-3, 230-pound right hander got the ball rolling at PBR Future Games in his two innings against Indiana, while punching out three and surrendering one run.  Strong, bulky frame with some juice in his arm. Quiet, repeatable delivery with strong balance point, smoothly working downhill.  Smooth, long arm stroke with slight effort working up to 3/4  slot. Throws a heavy FB at 85-89 (2009-2221 rpm per Trackman) w/ slight arm side action and maintained velo throughout outing with more in the tank. Mixed low 70s breaking ball with gradual break, but challenging tunnel off FB.  Not a dominant offspeed, but flashes of sharpness to build upon. Dugan committed to Lipscomb after breaking 90 this fall at Lakepoint and showing more bite on breaking ball.

Uncommitted; 6-foot-3, 230-pound right hander made a nice jump since he appeared at the PBR Future Games in early August. Strong, bulky frame with some juice in his arm.  Quiet, repeatable delivery with strong balance point, smoothly working downhill.  Throws a heavy FB at 86-90 w/ slight arm side action and maintained velo throughout outing. Mixed breaking ball at 75-78, which flashed more sharpness with the velo uptick. A strong uncommitted arm in the 22' class.
