Body: 5-foot-10, 160-pound
Hit: SHH. Open stance, smooth load, short stride stride. Raw bat speed. Extension on his finish, flat swing.
The switch-hitting shortstop had a strong Top Prospect Games in June earning him the nod for Team Tennessee at PBR Future Games. Offensively, shows more pop from the left side, but has a knack for producing runs from both sides of the dish. Williams climbs from 82 to 58 (+24).

The 5-foot-10, 160-pound switch-hitting middle infielder went 1 for 5 (1 3B/1 BB) w/ 2 RBIs in 7 plate appearances. Although the battling line doesn’t jump off the page, Williams was very productive in his opportunities by driving in two runs and scoring another. He continued to show a smooth, quick swing from both sides of the dish w/ slight favor towards the left side. He displayed good gap-to-gap power in both BP & game action. Defensively, showed solid hands and range w/ short, quick release. Needs to continue to fill out frame in the weight room. Profile projects as switch-hitting 2 or 6-hole run-generating hitter w/ solid D at both middle infield positions.

The 5 foot 10, 160-pound switch hitting shortstop showed to be a sure handed defender with a rare offensive skill set. On defense, Williams displayed soft, smooth hands with exceptional footwork and athletic motions with an average arm. At the plate, Williams projects as a table setter with the ability to spray the baseball to all fields, and he looked more comfortable from the left side by showing more natural pop (Exit Velo L: 84, R: 82). Slightly open stance from both sides w/ small leg kick and quiet hand load. Shows good bat speed with projectable power w/ frame development. Showed good speed and range to be versatile collegiate defender, depending on arm strength development.
5-foot-10, 150-pound, SHH picked up a couple walks in game while showing a better all-around skill-set than the raw numbers indicate. Medium, athletic frame w/ long limbs, some lean strength. Projectable, has just scratched the surface of his frame potential. Has two different stances as a switch-hitter. As a lefty, hits w/ an open, slightly crouched stance and short hand rhythm into toe tap to square and occasional short hand load. As a righty, hits w/ a slightly open, very slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into stride and short hand load. Generates bat speed through the zone from both sides of the plate. Cleaner swing from the left side, repeats it more consistently. Occasional stiffness through the zone. All fields w/ lot of line drives when right, can get pull happy at times. Defensively, shows soft hands w/ good footwork and quick release. Athletic defender w/ better arm strength than velocity shows, as valued getting rid of the ball quick.
