6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect has a projectable frame and shown some versatility. Primarily a catcher, but has logged a 7.00 laser sixty and 85 mph from the OF, giving him some options to get on the field. Behind the dish, very sound receiving and blocking, crisp transfers and easy arm strength (77 C Velo). Best pop at 1.96, but consistently in the 2.01-2.11 range. At the plate, consistent producer with balanced setup and small stride. Generates above average bat speed and excellent rotation w/ consistency on finishes. Lots of line drives (T 94.9 exit velo; Avg: 87.5 mph) and hard contact (54.6%) in his BP rounds. Hanks has been a consistent player over his HS career, and will play a crucial role for a very competitive Silverdale team come this Spring.
