6’0, 155-pound, RHH hits from a balanced and even stance and uses a short and early stride to get himself set, hands don’t show much movement before the swing begins.  Lower half works but somewhat spins and brings his body up and onto his front leg, drops his hands as a little bit of a load but gets handsy because of that early stride, comes at lower pitches steeply and hit a few ground balls to the left side of the infield, line drives hit were up the middle, should continue developing as he gets stronger.  Defensively, showed quickness and athleticism behind the plate and an ability to get rid of the ball quickly through a short arm action over-the-top, moves well and uses his mobility to his advantage during game play, stayed fairly low when receiving balls for pop times and did a good job of staying aligned, produced accurate throws to 2B.

1/18/16 - 5-foot-11, 150-pound right-handed hitter hits from a low and slightly open stance, uses a very short and early stride to get himself ready, loads by taking hands from head height to just below and behind the back shoulder, good use of lower half and a slightly upward swing path produced some solid line drives and an 80 mph exit velocity off the tee.  Defensively, uses decent footwork, a clean exchange and a relatively efficient release behind the plate to muster 2.04-2.09 pop times, arm strength and velocity at 76 mph, ran a 7.66 60-yard dash and will continue to improve overall game with some physical maturity.
