6/15/16 - 60 Time: 7.29, Position Velocity:  IF-79, Exit Velocity: 78
6'2, 175-pound, LHH hits from a wide and balanced stance and begins with his hands in a fairly high position, uses a smooth toe-tap and stride along with a lowering and push back of his hands to get himself loaded.  Lower half does a lot of work for him as its consistency puts him in a power position directly before and at contact, hands lower into a strong position and allow him to drive his back elbow in to get his barrel on plane, drives through the zone flatly with a little bit of lift at the end, stays balanced and behind the ball throughout his swing, Stinnett tallied a double and a triple with his gap-to-gap power in game play. Defensively, showed good hands and above average feet as he puts himself in good positions to field the ball but could improve the quickness  of his footwork, long exchange with a glove pat leads to a fairly short arm action from a high ¾ release point, accurate throws with good carry are the norm for Stinnett.

6/15/16 - Max FB: 83, FB: 79-83, 66-69 Slider
6'2, 175-pound, RHP begins with his hands together in front of his face and drops them to begin his motion, uses a smooth but fairly big rocker step to the side to lead into a leg raise where he brings his hands back up to gather at the top, doesn’t quite get his front hip closed off and stays tall when heading toward the plate, alignment is good as his stride foot lands in line with the plate, stays even without much shoulder tilt and showed a longer arm action than the past, high ¾ release point.  Fastball tried to run at the end but was very subtle, breaking ball was more of a slider at this event as it showed 10/4 shape and some were pretty sharp.

1/18/16 - 6-foot-2, 170-pound righty uses a rhythmic delivery and a shorter but fairly loose arm action to deliver pitches from a high-3/4 arm angle, athletic kid with a good finish and quick arm, fastball sat 80-82 with some hard run at the end for some very sharp strikes, slows arm slightly on his 64-66 mph curveball, but had some good life with 11/5 action for strikes,  75-77 mph changeup fades away from lefties and sometimes out of the zone as he had a hard time being consistent with it.  Stinnett showed a presence on the mound and the athleticism to continue to improve. As a position player, hits from a balanced stance with a short stride that comes from a minor leg kick igniting a rhythmic hand load just below shoulder-height that produces a level and slightly upward bat path that stays in the zone a long time, set the stage by hitting first and producing one of the best rounds of BP we would see all day, 80 mph exit velocity off the tee was an improvement from a previous PBR appearance and will only continue to rise with time.  Stinnett can improve on his 7.44 60-yard dash time, but impressed at SS with his fluid footwork and soft hands, his ability to play through the ball and produce a quick exchange led to a lot of very accurate throws at a 75 mph clip across the infield.  Definitely a 2018 prospect to follow in his development.

10/25/15 - The 6 foot 1, 165-pound prospect posted a 7.52 60 time and had a 72 mph position velocity across the infield. Defensively Stinnett shows short arm action with a ¾ release, some accuracy on throws, average arm strength, average hands, has room to improve quickness of release and working through the baseball. Offensively, Stinnett shows average bat speed from the left side and had a 73 mph exit velocity off the tee. Stinnett hits from a balanced setup with a slight leg kick involved, uses his lower half, has good overall balance, good approach with the ability to use all fields, level swing path that triggers from chest level. Stinnett has good hands at the plate and went 1 for 4 during game play. He will be a 2018 guy to keep an eye on as he continues to develop and get stronger.
On the mound, the 6-foot-1, 165-pound RHP has a lanky frame with plenty more room to fill out, uses long arm action through a ¾ arm slot that produces good arm-side run to his fastball, fastball sat 76-77 mph topping at 78. He also flashed a curveball during his outing with a gradual 11/5 break at 63-65 mph. He allowed one hit in one inning of work.
