Maxwell Willis, NASHVILLE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL (TN), 2028 Positional Profile: SS/RHP Body: 5-8, 145-pounds. Smaller frame at present with longer arms that point to more height and size. Hit: RHH. Even feet with slightly bent knees at the start of his swing with his hands above his rear shoulder. A small load with the front leg shoots the hands back into a loaded position prior to the swing launching though. Small scissoring action with the backside. Slightly downward batpath produces mainly low line drives and ground balls, was able to get under low pitches well. Power: 82 max exit velocity, averaged 68.8 mph. 286' max distance. Arm: RH. INF-71 mph. Very accurate on the bag throws from a high ¾ release slot. Defense: Solid foot and glove work, arrives on time to the ball. Could carry more momentum through the ball for better throws. ATH: 7.85 runner in the 60.
